Snow Dance (Mini)

“Going along with our up to date news coverage of this record breaking cold front, I want to give another warning about being safe in the upcoming days; especially in regards t6o the roads” the weatherman said over the television in the lobby of the library. I know what you're probably wondering. Why is such a loud thing in such a quiet place? The library lobby is king of the meet up place on the bottom floor. There is a printing area with computers, a tutor center, and a sitting area with tables. So it's not exactly quiet like the other three floors where you’ll get shushed if you even cough or have a load ringtone or something. I'm not saying I have personal experience with it or anything. Heehee.
“I hope it snows enough for school to be cancelled” I heard a girl say to her friend as they walk toward the front doors. Man, wouldn't that be nice. Instead of walking in the blistering cold, I could be in bed getting cuddled with my Eric. Speaking of him, where is my hot boyfriend at anyways? I’m currently waiting for him to finish his tutoring session for a biology class. When you’re really smart at a subject, you can get paid to help others. Something I’ll never be able to achieve. Unless there is a course on makeup, fashion, or what nail colors go best with olive green paints. I would be all over that!
I’m looking at the time on my phone when I hear a voice behind me say,
“Why is someone so cute sitting all alone?”
I see Eric giving me a boyish grin. I grin back at him as I stand up and grab my pink floral book bag.
“I was just waiting for my boyfriend who was taking forever,” I tell him as I wrap my arms around him and stand on my tippy toes to give him a kiss.
“Sorry baby girl. I had to stay longer to help someone who needed extra practice,” Eric says as he gives me a gentle squeeze. Of course, he would stay back. He has to help everybody, like a newborn superman.
“Was it a girl? I bet it was a girl,” I ask with an eye roll. I know how some of those freshmen look at a senior with heart eyes.
“If you must know, miss jealous, I wasn't helping a girl. It was Daniel. So calm down a bit” he tells me. Hmph. I can't help my possessive tendencies. It can get me into trouble at times; which isn't a surprise for anyone, I’m sure.
“Alright. Can we go get dinner now? I'm starving,” I say as I grab his hand to pull him toward the door. However, I’m quickly pulled back to where we were standing before.
“Um… aren't you forgetting something?” Eric asks me with an expectant look. I look at him confused before I look around. I have my phone and bag? Yup. All my fingers and toes in tact? Check. My fly’s zipped up? Double checked on that. I don't really see what I’m missing.
“What?” I ask him with a shrug.
“You're forgetting your coat and scarf,” he tells me, lifting up the clothing to show me. Ohhhhh, yeah. Those stupid things. Eric has been on my case about wearing my coat whenever I’m outside. Cori, you need to wear warmer clothes. Cori, you can't wear shorts if it's below freezing. Seriously, are you trying to get sick baby? I mean, I honestly think the nagging has gotten way, way out of hand. And I’m told I’m annoying. Psh!
“It was hot in here. That's why I took them off,” I say putting on my coat.
“Well you seem to have forgotten to put them back on; as usual” Eric tells me while he wraps my scarf around my neck and giving my nose a kiss.
“That's why I have you to always remind me,” I say with a smirk. Eric rolls his eyes with a shake of his head.
“Lets go to the dining hall baby,” he tells me as he takes my hand in his. We make our way outside and are met with a big gust of cold wind. My face literally feels frozen instantly.
“Aren't you glad you're wearing your coat, huh?” Eric asks me with a knowing look. Heck yeah! Id probably would have turned into an icicle.
“Yes! It’s freezing. It's supposed to get even colder and maybe a blizzard is coming too. Wouldn't it be nice if we get school called off?” I say wishfully. I could use a day off so bad.
“Yeah, it would but I’m not getting my hopes up. They never cancel school. Remember when the heaters weren’t working across campus and we still had to go to classes?” Eric says, rolling eyes.
That really sucked. It was just starting to get cold outside, so the buildings were not warm on the inside. I'm surprised I didn't get hypothermia. If the campus were on fire, they still wouldn't cancel school. Nope, not today. Ugh.
“Well I’m going to do my snow dance” I say trying not to chatter my teeth.
“A snow dance? Is that like a spin off of your happy dance?” Eric says with a bit of a laugh. Eric has caught me doing one of my infamous happy dances. Nothing like getting caught dancing in your underwear by your amused boyfriend.
“More like a rain dance except with snow. You know my rain dances work like a charm,” I tell him with a proud smile. Last time I did my rain dance, it totally flooded. It was also the time Lily and me caused a mud fiasco. It wasn't pretty.
“Funny. To me, your rain dances always seems to bring you a lot of trouble” he snickers. I glare at him. Okay, so he is totally right about that but he doesn't need to bring up old misery; especially for my butt.
“No need to bring up the past. Besides, I have a feeling my snow dance will have a better outcome” I say as we head up the steps of the dining hall.
“If you say so,” Eric says while kissing my cheek then opens the door to the eatery for me.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

“Phew! I'm exhausted. Cori, this snow dance better work,” Lily pants as she falls down on her bed.
“It will! I have a feeling,” I say jumping back on to my bed. As you can see, Lily and me just finished our snow dance in the hopes that school will be canceled tomorrow so we’ll have a three-day weekend. The temperature has been decreasing throughout the day and dark clouds have been rolling in.
“I think so too. The newscaster even said a mini snow blizzard might happen or something like that. So let's hope they’ll cancel classes for once” Lily says turning on our T.V. to find something to watch.
“Right! My dances work like a charm” I tell her while grabbing my phone. Lets see if there are any good sales going on. I could use some more boots; like brown furry once. Yass!
“Well, if the charm is always finding trouble then they for sure work. My butt was so sore after the mudslide incident” she says wincing from the incident.
“You and Eric love bringing up the past, don't you? It’ll work this time. Really” I promise as I grab my bag of chips from my snack basket. You know, I need my food in arms reach or else I get hangry. It's NOT pretty.
“Let's hope so” Lily hopes while flipping through the channels.
As we are getting settled watching a movie about a robot finding love, both of our phones ring simultaneously. It's our school alert letting us know that school. Is. CANCELLED! Hell yes! Our snow dance worked. Who was right! Me! Happy dance time.
“Yes! No classes! Thank god. See, I told you that your snow dance would work” Lily says playfully. I roll my eyes back at her with a grin.
“Sure you did. I'm so going to rub it in Eric’s face” I say. He totally doubted me. What else is new though?
“Hey angel” Eric says when he answers his phone.
“Eric! You heard what happened right?” I ask happily.
“Are you talking about classes being cancelled? Then yes, I got the message,” he tells me.
“Yup. And it's because I did a snow dance. So ha! It totally does work” I brag. I'm sure he won't doubt my efforts again.
“Oh yeah? Well I guess everyone has you to thank, huh?” Eric says with a bit of laugh. Duh.
“You bet your ass they do. Now I can snuggle in bed all day. Do you still have practice in the morning?” I ask since I figured his coaches don't care about a “little snow”. They’re words, not mine.
“Yeah. In the morning but it's probably going to be cut short. Coach was planning on going through some drills, but that’s it though” he tells me.
“So then I get to spend the rest of the day with you, right?” I ask hopefully. I’m talking popcorn and a movie marathon.
“Of course, baby. I'll do whatever you want,” he says. His words quickly got my attention.
“Anything?” I ask with a mischievous grin.
“Well not anything. Within reason” Eric clarifies.
“Sure. But lucky for you, I only feel like cuddling and watching movies” I tell him. Eric chuckles.
“Yeah, lucky me. But that sounds good with me. I'll see you in thirty minutes for dinner, right?” he asks.
“I'll be there,” I say. Tonight is supposed to have nachos, so I’m totally there.
“Okay. Make sure you're wearing your coat” Eric reminds me. He’s like a broken record, I swear.
“I will! Now I gotta a pee. I'll see you in a bit” I say as I practically fall off my bed trying to get off.
“Alright baby. Love you,” He tells me.
“Love you too,” I say back as I hurry to the bathroom over my clothes on the ground. Maybe I should pick up my clothes for once. Nah!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Dang, it's freaking cold out here. The weatherman wasn't lying about record-breaking temperatures. My whole body is ice over. This car’s heater needs to hurry up. It's practically been fifteen minutes and it's still not warm in here. You're probably wondering why I’m in the car even though we were advised to stay in doors? Well, all morning I have been toasty in my bed when I realize that I’m out of coffee. Like my day is practically ruined. Coffee is the best thing ever. Besides shopping and Eric time. All though planning things is a close fourth. It finally stopped snowing and the weather seems clear. Well clear enough anyway. I figured I would go gets some coffee at the local coffee shop before hanging out with Eric. So that's where I am. The roads should be clear since its not snowing. Besides I’m not the only one on the road either. Cars have been passing on the road. I'm not the best drive as you may know from certain times but I should be fine. Right? You can do this Cori. Just drive slowly. I take a deep breath and pull into reverse. I manage to drive down the parking garage and onto the side road. Easy so far. What was I so nervous about? I turn to go right when it happened. My life flashed before my eyes.
Before I even realize it, my car was crashed into a tree. Holy crap! What just happened? I unbuckle my seatbelt and hurry out of my car to see the damage. I hope it's not too bad because my dad will kill me. Not to mention what Eric is going to do. Eek!
I see that only my front bumper is dented a bit but my hood for sure is going to need to be fixed. Great. I might as well get this over with. I go back inside my car and grab my phone to call Eric for help.
“Hey baby. I was about to call you. Practice is over” Eric greets over the phone.
“Eric…” I say pitifully. I’m feeling sorry for myself right now. Ugh.
“What’s wrong? Did something happen?” he asks worriedly. He just knows something is wrong. We have that connection. Not to mention I use my pitiful voice pretty often. So there's that too, I guess.
“Yes, something happened. I crashed my car,” I tell him as I slumped down in my seat. At Least it's warm in here finally.
“What! Crashed your-? Why are you even in your car?” Eric asks me confused. Somehow get yourself out of this Cori. I don't want a sore butt to keep me warm.
“Well I was out of coffee for my keurig and decided to get some at the Steamed Brew. It wasn't snowing anymore so I thought it was okay to drive,” I tell him. Boy was that a mistake. Not one of my finest moments and I’ve had many.
“Cori, you know it's not safe to drive today. The roads are icy, baby. Plus you need new chains on your tires” he reminds me. I forgot about the tire chains. No surprise there.
“I forgot. Honest. And I’m not even the only person on the road either. So I thought it was okay” I defend myself. Although I don't see anybody else’s car in a tree. Whoopsies.
“Just because you see other people doesn't mean you should be driving. Are you okay though, angel? Where are you right now?” Eric asks me making sure that I’m okay.
“I’m still by my car. Will you come help me please? I’m by the east car garage” I ask him. I don't know the first thing to do.
“Yeah. I’m walking back from the gym right now. So I’ll meet you in a few. You’re in trouble. You know that, right?” he warns me. My butt and me hear him loud and clear.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

“I can't believe you actually tried to drive in this weather. Just to get some coffee. Honestly Cori” Eric gripes as he pulls me between his legs and pulls my pants down my legs. I’m then pulled over his lap unceremoniously as my doom is about to begin. Yay me. NOT.
“I thought it was safer to drive. It wasn't snowing anymore,” I say as I grip onto Eric’s covers. I feel him tighten his arm around me as he lifts up his hand and brings it crashing down onto my upturned bottom.
Smack Smack
Eric begins a steady rhythm of hard spanks that are already warming my cheeks.
“Just because it stopped snowing doesn't mean anything. The roads are still slick; especially if your tire chains aren't great. You shouldn't have been driving. Period” he says getting his point across to me.
Smack Smack Smack Smack
“Ah. I know! Ow!” I cry out as I try to dodge the constant smacks. Not that it’s doing any good since Eric just tightens his hold. Having a strong boyfriend is a blessing and a curse.
Smack Smack Smack Smack
“Do you know? Because obviously you didn't even stop and think if it was a good idea to be driving,” he says, paying attention to my sit spots. Ouch!
“I know now! Ah. I’m sorry! Ah” I say with tears streaming down my face. Eric knows that I have problems thinking about my actions. It’s why I’m usually face down over his lap a lot. He should cut me some slack. I'm a work in progress.
Smack Smack Smack Smack
Eric pauses the spanking to pull my panties down now. Oh joy.
“Your lucky nothing major happened to you or your car” he tells me as he continues on by paying close attention to my upper thighs. Jesus, that hurts. My bottom feels on fire.
SMACK SMACK SMACK SMACK
When Eric came to check out the damage, he figured out that my car still ran fine. The only problem was my bumper and hood. I thankfully didn't hit the tree too hard. So I’ll be taking my car to get fixed sometime next week. Do you think my dad will notice a significant amount charged to his card. More than likely. Sigh.
“It won't happen again. Ow!” I cry as I start to sob.
“SMACK SMACK SMACK SMACK
“Good. It better not” Eric says as he finished the spanking with only smacks to my sit spots. I'll definitely be feeling this for a while. With two final swats, Eric FINALLY stops and places his hand over my sore cheeks. He gently rubs them before pulling my panties and pants back up.
“Its okay now baby girl. Come here” he says as he helps me sit up on his lap. I’m wrapped up in is loving arms as he soothes my sobs down.
“Shhh angel shhh it's okay now shhh. I love you and I’m glad nothing happened to you” Eric whispers to me while rocking me. My tears slowly stops and I’m left with a very, very inflamed behind.
“You okay now?” He asks while kissing the top of my head. Besides the obvious, yes.
“Yeah but I still didn't get any coffee” I pout. All I wanted was a hot cup of joe. That's it. Hmph!
“Poor you” Eric says rolling his eyes.
“Yes, poor me! This stupid weather sucks” I huff as I snuggle loser to Eric. He chuckles.
“I mean, aren’t you the one who caused all this snow with your snow dance?” Eric teases. Of course I had to bring this upon myself somehow.
“Well I take it all back now. I don't want any more snow,” I tell him. Eric was soooo right about my dances. Never again. I learned two important lessons today: don't drive in icy conditions and snow dances bring about a world of pain for my cute butt. Only happy dances from now on. Heehee.
